Jesus in the sand this time
So here’s an interesting image from google maps. This time its jesus showing up in a sand dune. i’m pretty sure photography wasn’t invented until after jesus died and as far as i know no one painted him. so i guess the common assumption is that if you see a pair of eyes and a nose and maybe a mouth it has to be jesus. Right?
If you zoom out enough you’ll see Jesus moved from the Pringle he was on in Indiana to a desert somewhere in Peru.

We’ll, there’s this:
2nd Commandment: “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.”
According to the American Heritage dictionary, Graven means:
1. To sculpt or carve; engrave.
2. To stamp or impress deeply; fix permanently.
So photographing Jesus (or anything or anyone else) would have been a sin, just as it is today.
So all artists, photographers, videographers, sculpters, engravers are going to burn in Hell, along with everyone who works on Sunday (fourth commandment) or people who eat lobster (Leviticus 11:12).
