Bigger Needles

Medical news: Study - Longer needles needed for fatter buttocks.

Fatter rear ends are causing many drug injections to miss their mark, requiring longer needles to reach buttock muscle, researchers said on Monday.

Standard-sized needles failed to reach the buttock muscle in 23 out of 25 women whose rears were examined after what was supposed to be an intramuscular injection of a drug.

Two-thirds of the 50 patients in the study did not receive the full dosage of the drug, which instead lodged in the fat tissue of their buttocks, researchers from The Adelaide and Meath Hospital in Dublin said in a presentation to the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America.

Another Political Survey

I’m posting another political survey, this survey is quite a bit longer than the lest survey I had posted. It is more in depth. The interesting thing about this survey is that it shows you graphically where you fall in politically compared to current and previous world leaders.

These are the justices of the supreme court and their religions, with Bush’s newest nominee tacked on the end of it.
John Roberts - Catholic
Stephen G. Breyer - Jewish
Ruth Bader Ginsburg - Jewish
Anthony M. Kennedy - Catholic
Antonin Scalia - Catholic
David H. Souter - Episcopalian
John Paul Stevens - Protestant
Clarence Thomas - Catholic
Samuel Alito - Catholic

what surprised me is it is mostly made up of catholics and jews. it surely could use some more evangelicals.

with four catholics and two jews i’m pretty sure david duke isn’t a big fan of this court.

Smallest Political Quiz

Take it yourself

This is a pretty good little quiz to see where you stand politcally, in case you didn’t know what you should label yourself as. I’m a centrist, this time I took the quiz. I think the last time I took it I was a liberal. Uh oh, I guess I’m moving to the right. I hope I don’t become a conservative, I just don’t think I have the energy to defend and justify every moronic thing Bush says or does.
